Sipping on vino and exploring a taste of Argentina with Miami’s Yelp Elites

On April 6, 2022 Loretta & The Butcher hosted Miami’s Yelp Elites in a wine-tasting experience paired with live music, Argentinian bites, and great vibes.

Loretta & The Butcher is an Argentinian restaurant located in the heart of Coconut Grove loved for its prime meats and fine wines (not to be biased but it’s the best Argentinian cuisine in the 305).

In the weeks leading up to the event, Muse Creative Group’s Gabriella Mutti and Yelp’s Community Manager Farah Hantash would meet at Loretta’s Milanesa Lunch Club. Attentive to all the details, together they planned the run of show and logistics contributing to the experience.

The milanesas and event-planning combo resulted in the perfect recipe for what turned out to be a successful event. Yelp Elites were welcomed with a glass of prosecco upon arrival and a “Rate the Vino” scorecard. Red and white balloons, Yelp’s brand colors, filled Loretta’s outdoor rustic terrace setting the entrance scene.

After some mingling and indulgence of passed delicacies, wine sommelier Mariana Caravajilla gathered the Yelp squad and kicked off the night’s motto: Follow the Vino. She introduced four different types of vinos hand-selected from Argentina, teaching the squad about the vineyards these wines were sourced from and how each bottle gets their unique taste.

The night consisted of sipping tasty vinos and grooving to Keanu Reedz live sax performance made possible by Backroom Sessions Sara Britto. Small bites kept flowing throughout the night including empanadas, chorizo, morcilla, entraña crostini (aka skirt steak), and greek salad. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service transported the crowd to what felt like a family home off the coast of Mendoza!

After learning about all four vinos and rating them on the scorecards (five stars all around), everyone was ready for the Choco Soufflé! The featured wine bottles were available for sale at an exclusive price and what we witnessed was incredible: guests took boxes (yes, BOXES) of vino to-go taking the Follow the Vino motto back home. That’s how much love they had for Loretta’s wine selection.

Owner of Loretta & The Butcher, Mariano Codaro was at a loss of words and beyond grateful for the success of this event made possible by the dedicated Muse and Yelp team. We thank Yelp Miami for this opportunity and for their continued trust and support!
