The Foundation recognized the need for a consistent brand identity. The organization required a representative visual identity that effectively conveys its mission to grantees and the community it serves.

Solution

Our branding solution for the Stryker Johnston Foundation was thoughtful and intentional. It incorporated the themes and insights uncovered through our Listening Tour. We aimed to create a vibrant brand that celebrated Kalamazoo’s unique qualities.

We achieved this through a bold, art-forward approach, using a warm and vibrant color scheme. The logo features the letters S and J stacked on each other, symbolizing the building blocks of the community coming together. Together, they resemble a ladder, signifying the community’s growth and development.

Our collaborative effort with the community resulted in a branding solution that speaks to the future of Kalamazoo and reflects the Foundation’soals.
